What are the possible reasons for KYC failure?

The KYC verification may fail due to any of the below reasons,

In this case please ask the merchant to retry and enter the details as per the KYC documents.

Unable to verify your KYC

Our lending partner is unable to verify KYC as Digilocker service is temporarily down

In this case please ask the merchant to try after some time as their is some technical issue at Digilocker’s end.

Unable to verify your KYC

You need to provide consent for the lender to access your digilocker documents 

In this case please inform the merchant that they need to provide permission on their app to Digilocker to access the documents.

In this case please ask the merchant to continue accepting payments through PhonePe QR and wait to become eligible for a loan again in the future.

Unable to verify your KYC

Captured selfie image doesnt match with the image available in the verification document.

In this case ask the merchant to retry and take the selfie again. The image on the KYC documents should match with the face of person who is taking the selfie.
