If the bank that you currently hold an account with is listed under the merged bank column in the table above, we request you to unlink this bank account on PhonePe and link the new bank account assigned to you by the primary bank.
To unlink and then link your new bank account:
Tap My Money on the PhonePe app home screen.
Tap Bank Accounts under the Payments section.
Select the relevant bank account and tap Unlink Bank Account.
After unlinking your account, tap Add new bank account and select the relevant primary bank from the options displayed.
After you successfully link the new account, you will have to set a new UPI PIN as follows:
Tap My Money on the PhonePe app home screen.
Tap Bank Accounts under the Payments section.
Tap Set/Reset BHIM UPI PIN under the bank account.
Enter your Debit/ATM card details for that account. Note: You can use the debit card issued by your merged bank to set the PIN if you are yet to receive a new debit card from the primary bank.
Tap Continue and enter the 6-digit OTP that you receive through SMS on your registered mobile number. Note: If you have enabled SMS permissions, PhonePe will auto-fetch the OTP.
Enter the 4-digit ATM PIN for your Debit/ATM card.
Enter the new 4 or 6 digit UPI PIN that you wish to set for the account.
