What is a convenience fee?

Convenience fee is a minimal amount that PhonePe charges when you make certain types of bill payments. This fee will vary based on the service provider you are making a payment to or the payment mode you use.

When will I be charged a convenience fee?

You have to pay a convenience fee if you use a debit or credit card to make these bill payments:

• All Water bill payments
• All Piped Gas bill payments
• Electricity bill payments towards:
  • BESCOM Bangalore
  • MP Paschim Kshetra - Indore
  • Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd (PSPCL)
  • West Bengal State Electricity Board (Monthly and Quarterly)

Note: You can't use your PhonePe wallet for any payments towards the bill types and service providers listed above.
