Why do payments fail?
UPI Payments can fail for a few reasons listed below.
1. Your bank or the receiver's bank has network issues
2. You don't have sufficient balance
3. You entered a wrong PIN
4. You entered incorrect receiver details
5. You have reached your daily UPI Payment limit
6. UPI network issues
7. Other issues with your bank account
When can I retry the payment again?
Bank server issues usually get resolved in 5 - 30 min. In most cases you can retry payment immediately. However if the bank is facing issues, this might take longer.
What if money left my account?
In most cases, money does not leave your account. However in case it does, the money is absolutely safe with your bank and they will return your money in 5 days.
What if I haven't received a refund after 5 days?
For UPI payments, refunds are usually completed within 5 days. If you haven't received your refund in this time, you'll need to contact your bank to get help.
