Why do UPI Lite payments fail?
UPI Lite payments can fail for any of the below reasons,

• The receiver’s bank is facing some technical issues
• UPI Lite network issues  
• Incorrect receiver details entered

Why is my money deducted for a UPI Lite failed payment? 
In most cases, money is not deducted for UPI Lite failed payments. If you see that your money is deducted, don't worry, it is absolutely safe and will be refunded to your UPI Lite linked bank account within 5 days from the payment date. Please check your bank statement after 5 days for a refund confirmation.
Note: If you have balance in your UPI Lite and decide to close it, please check your bank statement for a refund confirmation. 

Why is the deducted amount not added to my UPI Lite balance?
In case your UPI Lite payment fails, the amount will always be refunded to your UPI Lite linked bank account within 5 days.
