I received a call from a fake helpline number for a payment

When you search for helpline numbers for banks or any other organisations on the web, you may be risking a possible fraud. Fraudsters may have added their mobile numbers as helpline numbers, and may request for confidential information from you when you call them. 

Please ensure that you,  

• Only trust and use helpline numbers that you find on the organisation official site/app 
• Do not search for helpline or support numbers on the web using search engines or social media 
• Do not share any confidential information such as your card number, CVV, OTP, UPI PIN, MPIN, or any other bank details with anyone including PhonePe or its representatives.
