How do I set or reset my UPI PIN?

You can set or reset your UPI PIN using a debit card or your Aadhaar number:

Using your Debit card

If you want to use your debit card,

1. Tap your profile picture on the PhonePe app home screen.
2. Tap Bank Accounts and select the bank account for which you'd like to reset or change the UPI PIN.
3. Tap Reset/Set next to UPI PIN as shown below,

4. Enter your Debit/ATM card details for that account.
5. Enter the 6-digit OTP that you receive through SMS on your registered mobile number.
Note: If you have enabled SMS permissions, PhonePe will auto-fetch the OTP. You can enable PhonePe to auto-fetch your OTP in your Phone Settings >>Apps & Notifications >> PhonePe >> Permissions.
6. Enter the 4-digit ATM PIN for your Debit/ATM card.
7. Enter the new 4 or 6-digit UPI PIN.
8. Re-enter the UPI PIN to confirm.
9. Tap Confirm.

Using your Aadhaar card

If you want to use your Aadhaar number, 

  1. Tap your profile picture on the PhonePe app home screen.
  2. Tap Bank Accounts and select your bank account.
  3. Tap Set or Reset next to UPI PIN under that account. 
  4. Select the Aadhaar number linked with bank option and tap Proceed.
  5. Enter the first 6 digits of your Aadhaar number.
    Note: You will receive two OTPs, one from your bank and one from UIDAI. 
  6. Enter both the OTPs.
  7. Enter the new 4 or 6-digit UPI PIN.
  8. Re-enter the UPI PIN to confirm.
  9. Tap Confirm.
