How do I activate a UPI ID for my bank account?

To activate a UPI ID, 

1. Tap Check Balance or your profile picture on the PhonePe app home screen. 
2. Select the relevant bank account and tap Activate.
3. Select the UPI ID available next to the bank account and tap Finish Set up.
