What do I do if I meet with an accident or if my bike is stolen?
In the unfortunate incident of you meeting with an accident or your bike getting stolen, please follow the below steps:
- Accident: In case of an accident, take your bike to your preferred garage within the network garages, if possible, or have your bike towed to avoid any further damage. You can check the list of network garages to get the benefits of cashless claims.
- Theft: Contact the nearest police station and file a complaint (FIR) immediately. You can then file a claim by contacting the insurance provider.
Note: If your bike isn't found within 90 days, you’ll need to request the police authorities to issue a non-traceable report, which you’ll need to submit to the insurance provider. The non-traceable report is an undertaking given by the police that they have not been able to find your bike. Your claim process will be initiated once you submit this report. - Third-party liability: Contact the nearest police station and file a complaint (FIR) immediately. Once you receive the charge sheet, file a claim by contacting the insurance provider.
