What benefits are not covered in the comprehensive insurance plan?
The comprehensive insurance plan doesn’t provide cover in the following situations:
- Aging, wear and tear of your car.
- Mechanical or electrical breakdown
- Damage caused under the influence of alcohol, drugs and any other intoxicating substance.
- Damage caused while driving without a valid driving license.
- Consequential loss and Contractual Liability of any kind.
- Loss or damage outside the geographical boundary of India.
- Damage to tyres & tubes without the car being damaged.
- Damage to insured's own property.
- Intentional self injury or attempted suicide.
- Vehicle used for purposes not covered under limitations.
- Vehicle driven by any one other than a licensed driver.
- Losses due to ionizing radiation or contamination by radioactivity.
- Losses caused due to nuclear weapons material.
- Losses caused due to war and war like situation.
