Where can I find the chassis number of my car?
The car's chassis number is often printed on the driver side door. It’s printed on a metal strip that you can find on the B-pillar of the car. You can see this when you open the driver side door.
You can also find the chassis number as follows:
- Near the engine: You can find your car’s Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or chassis number beside the engine of your car.
- In the boot: You can find the chassis number of your car under the spare wheel in the boot. You will have to lift the spare wheel to be able to view this number.
- On the rear wheel: Some car manufacturers print the chassis number above the rear wheel.
- On the dashboard: Some car manufacturers print the car’s VIN on the driver’s side of the dashboard.
