How do I renew my insurance after it has expired? 

Important: It is mandated by law to always have an active insurance policy cover for your car. Therefore, it is important to renew the policy before it expires. 

In case your car insurance policy has expired, you can purchase a new policy on PhonePe. However, if you wish to purchase a comprehensive insurance policy, you will need to submit documents and photos of your car for inspection before the insurance provider issues the policy. Additionally, if your comprehensive policy has expired more than 90 days ago, you will lose the accrued No-Claim Bonus (NCB). 

Note: You don’t have to get your car inspected if you are buying a third-party insurance policy.
