What is the pre-existing disease waiting period?
The pre-existing disease waiting period is the duration in which your insurance policy does not cover expenses related to pre-existing medical conditions. The waiting period varies for insurance providers but typically ranges from 1 to 4 years.  During this waiting period, you will not be eligible to claim expenses related to treatments or hospitalisations for pre-existing conditions.

Note: A pre-existing disease is a health issue or ailment that an individual already has when purchasing the insurance policy.
