What is the amount I can claim in case of flight cancellation?

In case of flight cancellations due to unexpected events like natural calamities, terrorist attack etc. you can claim up to ₹20,000 and this benefit is applicable for maximum 2 claims per year. However if your trip is cancelled due to an 'Advisory issued by the government of India' and due to an 'Epidemic / pandemic event', you can claim upto ₹1,000.
