What does the Super Top-up policy cover?
The Super Top-up policy covers:
- Hospitalisation expenses only if the insured is hospitalised for a minimum of 24 consecutive hours
- Room rent, boarding, and nursing expenses for upto the sum insured
- ICU/ICCU expenses for upto the sum insured
- Specific day care treatments
Note: The insured doesn’t have to be hospitalised for a minimum of 24 consecutive hours to file a claim for this. - Pre-existing diseases which the insurer has agreed to cover
Note: Pre-existing diseases will be covered only after a waiting period of 2 years. - Expenses incurred for road ambulance
Note: You can claim upto ₹3,500 only per hospitalisation. - Expenses incurred for Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy inpatient care treatment shall be covered upto the sum insured during each policy year as specified in the policy schedule
- Expenses for modern treatments methods upto 50% of the sum insured
- Medical expenses related to pregnancy, childbirth, pre and postnatal hospitalisation or medically recommended and lawful termination of pregnancy upto ₹1 lakh of the sum insured
Note: These expenses will be covered only if your aggregate deductible amount is ₹2 lakh and above.
