What if I haven’t received the payment request notification?
If you haven’t received a notification about the payment request on PhonePe, you can:
- Tap Notifications (bell icon) at the top of the app home screen.
- Refresh the screen by dragging the screen down and releasing it.
If you still don’t receive the notification, try again after closing and reopening the PhonePe app. This should fix the issue.
If you haven’t received the notification through SMS, ensure the following:
- You have a strong network signal.
- You haven’t enabled DND (Do Not Disturb) with your operator for the mobile number registered with us. You can check this by going to your phone’s Settings > Apps & notifications > Notifications > Do Not Disturb.
If you haven’t received the notification or SMS after the above checks, ask the merchant to send you a new payment request or use another payment mode.
