What if I am unable to scan a QR code?

Ensure that you’re using the latest version of the PhonePe app, you have good internet connectivity, and your phone camera is not being used by another app and then, try scanning a QR code.

If you’re still unable to scan, troubleshoot as follows:

For Android users
  1. Open your phone settings.
  2. Tap Apps & notifications and tap Google Play Services.
  3. Tap Storage & cache and tap Clear cache.
  4. Tap Clear storage and tap Clear all data.
  5. Tap OK.
For iPhone users

Ensure that you’re using the latest iOS version and you’ve allowed PhonePe to access your camera. To give camera access,

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Search for PhonePe.
  3. Tap the button next to Camera.

Once done, please try scanning the QR code again. If this doesn’t help, close the PhonePe app, restart your phone, and then try again.
