How do I complete the auto payment set-up for my SIP?

If you’re setting up an auto payment using UPI
  • You will have to enter your UPI PIN.
    Note: 
    • For a new SIP, the first payment will be made during the set-up. All following payments will be made automatically on the SIP date you’ve selected. 
    • If you have an existing SIP and you wish to change the payment mode to UPI, a verification charge of ₹2 will be debited from your account. This amount will be refunded to your account within one hour.
    • PhonePe does not charge any additional fee for setting up a new SIP.
If you’re setting up an auto payment using netbanking/debit card
  • You will be redirected to your bank’s website where you will be asked to provide the required details to set up the auto payment: 
    • For netbanking, you will be redirected to your bank’s netbanking portal. You will need to enter your user ID and password.
    • For a debit card, you will need to enter your card details and your bank account number. 
      Note: If your bank account has already been verified, you can use it to set up new SIPs without requiring any re-verification.

Important: PhonePe will not charge any additional fee for setting up a new SIP using Net Banking/Debit Card. However, your bank may charge you a fee for verifying your bank account or setting up the auto payment for the SIP. We recommend that you check your bank’s website or contact your bank for more information.
