If you wish to change your registered phone number on PhonePe, you can log out of your current account and create your new account by registering with the new number.
You can deactivate your previous account by raising a request with us. Before doing so, please ensure that you have:
- Removed/deleted your active AutoPays
- Used your PhonePe Wallet balance for payments, or withdrawn the balance, if applicable
Note: If you are a min-KYC user and you wish to withdraw your withdrawable wallet balance to your bank account, you will need to close your PhonePe Wallet. To close your wallet, you will need to have a minimum balance of ₹1. - Sold any gold you've purchased on PhonePe, or have had it delivered
- Closed UPI Lite
- Completely used your PhonePe Gift Card balance
When changing your phone number, it’s important that you secure your personal details by:
- Deleting your payment reminders, saved addresses, and saved card details
- Unlinking your bank account
