The safety of your PhonePe account is of utmost importance to us. 

To ensure your account security, we may sometimes need to temporarily block your account if we notice any unusual payment or activity. However, all you need to do to have your account unblocked is to raise a complaint and share a few documents so that we may verify your account. 

To raise a complaint, 

  1. Tap Contact Us below.
  2. Enter your PhonePe registered mobile number, and tap Next.
  3. Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number. 
  4. Tap Unable to use PhonePe.
  5. Tap Account is blocked.
  6. Enter the details of the issue you’re facing. 
  7. Tap Attach file and attach the following documents: 
    • Any government ID such as a PAN card or Driver’s License (except Aadhaar)
    • A copy of the front page of your bank passbook containing your bank account number and IFSC code
  8. Tap Send to submit your complaint.

Once you submit your complaint with all the relevant documents, we will get back to you within 5 days.

What if I cannot submit these documents right now?

If you do not have the necessary documents right now, you can submit them when you have them ready. To do so, 

  1. Open your PhonePe app and tap Proceed to Login.
  2. Tap Contact Support and follow the steps to raise a complaint and submit the documents.  
How do I check for any updates on this issue?

To check for updates,

  1. Tap Contact Us below. 
  2. Enter your PhonePe registered mobile number.
  3. Enter the OTP sent to the mobile number.
  4. Tap Previous support messages on PhonePe.
  5. Select the relevant complaint ID (ticket) to check for updates.
