What happens to the gold stored in a digital locker in case of the buyer's death?

In the event of the buyer’s death, their legal heir can request for delivery of the gold that was purchased on PhonePe. However, the following documents will need to be submitted for due diligence before we complete the request:

• Identity proof
• Original or notarised copy of the death certificate
• Proof that the person requesting for the gold to be delivered is the legal heir
