How is the gold buying price fixed? 

The gold buying price is fixed by the bullion markets that our partners, Safegold, MMTC-PAMP and CaratLane are associated with. The bullion markets fix the price based on the market conditions. 

Note: The gold buying price that you see on PhonePe is valid only for 5 minutes from the time you tap Buy Gold and is exclusive of 3% GST and service charges.
