Are there any restrictions on selling gold on PhonePe?

Yes, we have imposed the following restrictions based on prevalent risk or security concerns:

• You can sell for an amount of ₹5 up to ₹1 Lakh.
• You can sell gold for a maximum of upto 10 times in a day
• If you’ve purchased gold using UPI, you can sell your gold only after 24 hours from the time of purchase.
• If you’ve used a debit/credit card, wallet, or a gift card for your gold purchase, you can sell your gold only after 5 days from the purchase date.

Note: If you’re unable to sell your gold even after 5 days from the purchase date, please raise a ticket for the relevant gold purchase from the History section of your PhonePe app. This will help us better assist you.
