How do I pay education fees on PhonePe?
To pay education fees on PhonePe:
- Tap See All under the Recharge & Pay Bills section on the PhonePe app home screen.
- Tap Education Fees under Utilities section.
- Tap Choose from the list of institutes or Send fee amount directly to institute’s bank account.
- Enter the required details and tap Continue.
Note: If you wish to send money directly to the institute’s account, you would have to add the phone number/bank account details/UPI ID. - If you’re making the payment directly to the institute’s bank account, you can only use UPI. If you’re making a payment to an institute that’s listed, you can only pay using UPI, debit cards, or credit cards.
Note: The fee period and the fee amount displayed on the app areis as per the educational institute’s system information.
Please remember, PhonePe may charge you a small fee (inclusive of GST) for education fee payments done on our platform to improve and deliver a seamless experience. This is a fee for using this platform regardless of the payment instrument used.
Important: If you’ve registered with an International number on PhonePe, you’ll be able to make payments only to Indian educational institutions.
