How do I pay my rent on PhonePe?

To pay your rent on PhonePe:

1. Tap Rent Payments under the Recharge & Pay Bills section on your app home screen. . 
2. Enter the rent amount and the property name. 
3. Enter the landlord’s name and add their mobile number/ bank account number/ UPI ID.
4. Tap Pay with UPI or Pay with Credit Card.
   Note: If your landlord is a PhonePe user, you can make the payment directly using their phone number
5. Enter your landlord’s PAN for verification purposes.
6. Select your preferred payment instrument and tap Pay Rent to complete the payment.

Note: PhonePe may charge you a small fee (inclusive of GST) for rent payments done on our platform to improve and deliver a seamless experience. This is a fee for using this platform regardless of the payment instrument used.

Please remember that you can’t use an American Express (Amex) credit card for rent payments.

Important: If you’ve registered with an International number on PhonePe, you’ll be able to make rent payments for properties only in India.
