How do I recharge my Delhi Metro Smart Card on PhonePe?
If you are a new user, and wish to recharge your card for the first time on PhonePe,
- Tap See All under Recharge & Pay Bills on your PhonePe app home screen.
- Tap Delhi under Metro Recharge and QR Tickets.
- Add a new Metro Card number.
- Tap Save and Recharge.
- Select an amount (in multiples of ₹100) and confirm the metro recharge by tapping Proceed to Pay.
If you are an existing user,
- Tap See All under Switch your PhonePe app home screen.
- Tap Delhi under Metro recharges and QR Tickets.
- Select the card.
- Select an amount (in multiples of ₹100) and confirm the metro recharge by tapping Proceed to Pay.
Note: Delhi Metro recharges are non-cancellable. You may add the details of as many cards as you wish to on PhonePe. While recharging your Smart Card, ensure you enter the correct ID that is engraved on the card. Once the recharge is successful on the PhonePe app, you will need to visit the nearest metro station and top-up your card balance on the Add Value Machine (AVM) within 180 days from the date of recharge. If you do not do so, the recharged amount will expire and you’ll not be eligible for a refund.
