How do I recharge my Mumbai Metro Smart Card on PhonePe?

If you are a new user, and wish to recharge your card for the first time on PhonePe, 

  1.  Tap See All under Recharge & Pay Bills on your PhonePe app home screen.
  2.  Tap Mumbai under Metro Recharge and QR Tickets.
  3.  Tap on Add & Recharge Metro Card.
  4.  Enter your Smart Card number.
  5.  Re-enter your Smart Card number for validation.
  6.  Enter your name (optional). 
  7.  Tap Save and Recharge.
  8.  Select the recharge value and make the payment.

If you are an existing user,

  1.  Tap See All under Recharge & Pay Bills on the PhonePe app home screen.
  2.  Tap on Mumbai under Metro recharges and QR Tickets.
  3.  Select the card number. 
  4.  Select the recharge value and make the payment.

Note: You can only use UPI to make the payment for your smart card recharge on PhonePe. You can also recharge your Mumbai Metro Smart Card at ticketing offices, Ticket Issuing Machines, by contacting the customer support team, or any other authorised channel. Please make sure that you enter the right engraved ID while making the recharge. After your recharge is complete, please visit the nearest metro station and tap the card on the Ticket Issuing Machine (TIM) within 6 months from the date of recharge. Your Smart Card will be made inactive if you don't use it within 6 months from the date of recharge. In case your Smart Card becomes inactive, please contact the Metro counter for further assistance.
