How do I reactivate my inactive PhonePe Wallet?
If your PhonePe Wallet is deactivated, it can either be:
- Closed
- Inactive
Closed Wallet: Your PhonePe Wallet will be in a closed state if you have requested for wallet closure. Once closed, you will not be able to re-activate your wallet.
Inactive Wallet: As per RBI regulations, your PhonePe Wallet will be made inactive if you’ve not used it within the last 12 months for any of the following:
- Adding money (top-up) to your wallet
- Paying for merchant transactions using the withdrawable wallet balance
- Withdrawing the withdrawable wallet balance
- Completing min-KYC
You can reactivate an inactive PhonePe Wallet by completing an OTP verification on the Topup Wallet screen.
To reactivate your inactive wallet,
- Tap your profile picture on the PhonePe app home screen.
- Tap PhonePe Wallet under the Payment Methods section.
- Tap Activate Wallet.
- Enter the OTP that is sent to the mobile number registered on PhonePe.
- Tap OK to complete verification and reactivate your PhonePe Wallet.
