How do I reactivate my inactive PhonePe Wallet?

If your PhonePe Wallet is deactivated, it can either be:

Closed Wallet: Your PhonePe Wallet will be in a closed state if you have requested for wallet closure. Once closed, you will not be able to re-activate your wallet.

Inactive Wallet: As per RBI regulations, your PhonePe Wallet will be made inactive if you’ve not used it within the last 12 months for any of the following:

You can reactivate an inactive PhonePe Wallet by completing an OTP verification on the Topup Wallet screen.

To reactivate your inactive wallet,

  1. Tap your profile picture on the PhonePe app home screen.
  2. Tap PhonePe Wallet under the Payment Methods section.
  3. Tap Activate Wallet.
  4. Enter the OTP that is sent to the mobile number registered on PhonePe.
  5. Tap OK to complete verification and reactivate your PhonePe Wallet.
