What are the different types of car insurance policies?

The two types of car insurance policies are comprehensive insurance plan and third-party (liability-only) insurance plan.

Comprehensive insurance plan: A comprehensive car insurance plan offers you (insured) extensive coverage for any damages to your car in case of any unforeseen event. It also protects you from any legal liabilities to all third-parties involved.

Third-Party Plan (TP) (Liability-only insurance): A third-party plan covers you (insured) against any loss or damage caused by your car to any third-party or their property. You may also receive coverage for yourself if you have a personal accident cover, but no compensation will be provided for theft or any damages to your car.
